My Favourite iPad Apps

iPad was launched in April 2010 and since then it has been a major hit with the consumers like us. If you are reading this blog, I am sure you own one too & looking for some good apps from App Store.   With 500,000+ Apps available in the App Store it becomes really difficult to find & choose the best apps available.  There are plethora of articles/blogs on the same topic but here are my favourite ones which according to me definitely deserve a trial.

GoodReader® -  GoodReader is the super-robust PDF reader for iPad. This is one of the best reader available on iPad & you can read virtually anything, anywhere: books, movies, maps, pictures. I bought it for $0.99 long time back but the price has increased since then. Price – $4.99

  Dictionary.com – This is again one of my favourite app which provides free trusted reference content from Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com. Price-Free

Penultimate - Although there are plenty of notes taking applications available for iPad but one of my favourite ones is Penultimate. You can take notes, keep sketches, or share your next breakthrough idea in the office, on the go, or home on the sofa. Price – $1.99

Filer – Probably this is one of the most frequently used app on my iPad. I can download the files directly from any site onto my iPad and then share it with other applications like GoodReader etc. It’s ability to unarchive .rar and .zip files is really very powerful.

HowStuffWorks – This is one of the cool application through which you can easily access all of the HowStuffWorks educational content including podcasts. Price – Free

Yogic Breath – One of my favourite ones in Healthcare & Fitness category. This application is very simple & easy to follow to learn & practice powerful yogic breathing. Price – Free
